Merchandiser - French and Spanish Accounts

Wholesale Merchandiser/Production Coordinator

An European supplier of accessories and apparel is looking for a talented and experienced wholesale merchandiser to join their growing business. The merchandiser will support French and Spanish accounts including Carrefour, Inditex Group, HyperCor etc. The role is based in Madrid.

Wholesale Merchandiser: the role:

You will be responsible for:

• Managing the critical path (India, Bangladesh, China factories)
• Order management from raising POs through to delivery
• Factory capacity planning, manage order flow through the season
• Administrative support to the team
• Liaise with buyers for prices and FOB delivery details
• Manage order book
• Interface with customers on all technical and production issues
• Analyse weekly sales 

Wholesale Merchandiser: the person:

The ideal candidate

• Will be experienced in merchandising or production within garments ideally within the supplier side
• Will have prior experience in working with French/Spanish wholesale accounts (apparel and accessories)
• Will speak French/Spanish
• Will be highly organised
• Will have excellent communication skills
• Will be commercially switched on and savvy
• Will be able to troubleshoot any problem and be solution focused

Salary: Upto Euro 35K a year
