• Experience in Outerwear manufacturing (Production Management)

About the Business

A midsized professionally run Outerwear manufacturer in Bangladesh is seeking a Production Head/COO (depending on experience) to manage its manufacturing operations.

The role will report to the CEO. 

Production Head: The Role

• Manage and run the entire production processes and work flow of manufacturing operations from Cut to Pack to ensure right quality and timely delivery.
• Work closely with marketing/sales team for effective capacity planning and management
• Plan and forecast resources and raw materials 
• Deal with suppliers like print and embroidery
• Coordinate with Merchandising team to ensure timely feed to the production lines.
• Daily analysis of production, efficiency, quality and other plant reports and provide direction to teams consisting of staff from Production, Maintenance, Industrial Engineering, Quality, Technical, Merchandising and Planning.
• Implementing right systems to ensure smooth functioning of the unit.
• Interaction with Corporate Office on daily /weekly and monthly monitoring reports and on critical production related issues
• Work closely with the Planning Department and coordinate the machinery requirements.
• Ensure the factory meets the compliance as per technical, social and health standards.
• Ensure compliance with local laws and standards

Production Head: The Person

• Experienced in Technical Outerwear manufacturing
• Will have hardcore production management background
• Strong planning and process skills
• Strong leadership and people management skills
