Key Account Manager - Apparels (Mens/Ladies/Kidswear) - Mexico
A large multinational supplier with a turnover of $100M is seeking a talented Key Account Manager to join their business in Mexico City. The mandate of the role is to work with their existing customers and grow the business.
About the Business
My client is a multi-product global supplier. They source from 40+ factories across Asia selling apparel, accessories, footwear and home products to retailers in the US and Europe mainly.
Key Account Manager: The Role
The key responsibilities for the role include
- Manage Key Accounts -Mexico
- Manage and grow existing accounts
- Work closely with buyers on product development and concept
- Work closely with design and technical teams
- Work heavily with factories and managing the critical path, ensuring timely deliveries
- Present new ideas and product concepts to buyers and closing new orders
- Building strong relationships and identifying gaps in the market
Key Account Manager: The Person
The ideal candidate will be someone who
- has prior experience in Account Management
- is currently working in Mexico
- has a successful track record of delivering orders
- can work with remote merchandising and production teams
- work independently with minimal supervision
The person will be based in Mexico City with occasional travel to Asia where the factories are based.
