This is an exciting opportunity to join a global bluechip fashion supplier to the high street, for the position of a Production Coordinator /Wholesale Merchandiser on a five month contract

Our client specialises in multi product categories for accounts like Primark, New Look, C&A, Arcadia, M&S, Next, Debenhams.

Due to strong growth, they are seeking talented production assistant/production co-ordinator/wholesale merchandiser to join their fast growing team.

Production Coordinator/ Wholesale Merchandiser: the role:

The wholesale merchandiser will be responsible for managing certain key high street accounts.

You will be responsible for:

• Working closely with buyers in understanding product specification and relationship management
• Working closely with design and technical team on development
• Manage the sampling process, lab dips, approvals, etc
• Working closely with factories in far east to monitor critical path and ensure the right product is delivered at the right place in the right time

Production Coordinator/ Wholesale Merchandiser: the person:

The ideal candidate

• Will be experienced in production management/ wholesale merchandising ideally within a supplier (any product area- menswear/womenswear/kidswear/accessories)
• Will have excellent communication skills
• Have strong critical path management experience, working with far east factories
• Will be commercially switched on and savvy
• Will be able to troubleshoot any problem and be solution focused
