Our client is a well established supplier to the high street, based in London. Due to growth, they are seeking a strong production/wholesale merchandiser to join their merchandising function. 

Wholesale Merchandiser: the role:

Critical path management –  maintaining the critical path to ensure on-time delivery

·         Check and submit all lab dips / strike-offs / packaging for customer approval

·         Chase all approvals from buyer and licensor

·         Raise purchase orders and action any subsequent price or delivery amendments

·         Send all packaging and presentation information to the factory and ensure all relevant departments are informed of clients requirements

·         Ultimately responsible for order until final delivery to customer

·         Book delivery into DC and raise despatch notes

·         Liaise with the customer buying and merchandising teams

·         Working closely with the QA and Design teams to ensure final product meets the client / licensor requirements

The ideal candidate will:

·         Have strong experience working as a wholesale merchandiser

·         Have a proactive approach to the role and ability to work under pressure

·         Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills

·         Be extremely analytical, numerate and accurate

·         Be computer literate (Microsoft Office – Word, Excel, email)
