We are looking for a talented sourcing manager to work for a sporty brand selling activewear, skiwear and swimwear in the UK and Europe. The sourcing manager will focus mainly on factory bases in Turkey, Romania and Portugal, hence knowledge of production and factories in these countries would be ideal.

Our client is a mid market brand selling sporty fashion across men, women and children categories. 

Sourcing manager: the role:

You will be responsible for:

- Managing all production and sourcing aspects for Turkey, Romania and Portugal 

- Building strong relationships with factories and make sure that orders are delivered at the right time, at the right price and at the right quality

-Work closely with in-house product developers and the creative team to ensure that the offering is competitive

-Identifying gaps and areas of improvement and implementing tools to make the systems more efficient

-All quality and production aspects 

-Sourcing new factories that could potentially add better value

-Travelling frequently to source countries

Sourcing manager: the person:

The ideal candidate will:

-Have strong sourcing and production experience, ideally would have worked with factories in Turkey, Romania and Portugal

-Have a strong personality, yet have the ability to work collaboratively

-Have strong relationship management skills and problem solving skills

-Be product focused and have have a track record of consistent delivery 

-MUST be eligible to live and work in the UK.
