Menswear Designer
Our client is a large fashion business supplier selling to most major high street retailers and supermarkets including Next, Primark, Tesco, George etc.
They are now seeking a talented menswear designer to join the design team based in London.
Menswear Designer: The role:
You will be responsible for:
- Designing the season's collections specific to customer needs
- Identifying gaps in the market and proposing new styling ideas
- Carrying out fabric and trend research
- Carrying out extensive fabric and trim sourcing
- Updating design tech packs and checking samples against them
- Managing critical paths and liaise with factories and mills
Menswear Designer: The ideal candidate:
- Must have menswear (casualwear) experience ideally in the fast fashion market
- Will ideally have at least 3-5 years experience as a designer
- Will be proficient in Illustrator/Photoshop
- Will have strong far east experience working with factories and mills
