Womenswear Designer

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Womenswear Designer in Leicester. The role is to design ranges and collections for an American brand whose USP is to take the customer from smart, tailored fits right through to the most relaxed leisure-wear.

The ideal candidate will have extensive womenswear design experience, ideally within a mid market brand or a retailer. Product type - athleisure including hoodies, jumpers, jackets, sweat shirts and pants; leisure-wear including T-shirts, shirts incl Polo, trousers etc.  

The role of a Womenswear Designer involves:

• Working with Heads of business to plan ranges
• Design ranges/collections within brand guidelines 
• Driving innovation and trend into collections ensuring freshness is maintained

The successful Designer must be an experienced professional who has designed for brands (casual wear, loungewear categories) with a real passion for product.
