Tailoring Designer

Our client is a well established legacy fashion business supplying mainly menswear tailoring to the high street. Key customers include most major high street brands like Next, Asos, Urban Outfitters, etc. 

They are now seeking a talented menswear tailoring designer to join the design team based in central London.

Menswear Tailoring Designer: The role:

You will be responsible for:

-Designing the season's collections specific to customer needs

-Identifying gaps in the market and proposing new styling ideas

-Carrying out fabric and trend research

-Carrying out extensive fabric and trim sourcing

-Updating design tech packs and checking samples against them

-Managing critical paths and liaise with factories and mills

Menswear Tailoring Designer: The ideal candidate:

-Must have menswear tailoring experience ideally in the fast fashion market

-Will ideally have at least 3-5 years experience as a designer 

-Will be proficient in Illustrator/Photoshop

-Will have strong far east experience working with factories and mills
