Account Manager - Apparels (Mens/Ladies/Kidswear) - Scandinavian Markets
A mid-sized European supplier with a turnover of €200M is seeking a talented Account Manager to join their business in Brussels. The role is to manage existing accounts in Sweden and Denmark with the aim to grow the business.
About the Business
My client is a successful legacy business. They have a strong pedigree and a growing customer list in Europe. They primarily sell apparel and accessories to retailers. The business has a strong sourcing function (overseas) to support in merchandising, compliance, QA/QC and technical.
Account Manager: The Role
The key responsibilities for the role include
- Manage Key Accounts in Sweden and Denmark
- Manage and grow existing accounts
- Work closely with buyers on product development and concept
- Work closely with design and technical teams
- Work heavily with factories and managing the critical path, ensuring timely deliveries
- Present new ideas and product concepts to buyers and closing new orders
- Building strong relationships and identifying gaps in the market
Account Manager: The Person
The ideal candidate will be someone who
- has prior experience in Account Management
- has experience in working in Scandinavian market
- has a successful track record of delivering orders
- can work with remote merchandising and production teams
- work independently with minimal supervision
The person will be based in Brussels with travel to meet buyers/customers.
