Finance Manager
A large multinational apparel and fashion business is seeking a talented and experienced Finance Manager to join their business in London. The role is to oversee the Finance and Accounts functions in a group of entities. The role reports to the CFO.Finance Manager: The Role:
- Day-to-day bookkeeping, owning accounts receivable, accounts payable and treasury function
- Support the integration and development of SAP
- Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting on a monthly and annual basis as per the Group standards
- Monitor and control monthly business performance against budget and forecast
- Manage budgeting and forecasting process
- Assist the CEO and CFO with managing supplier contracts (e.g. rent, utilities), equipment leasing/purchasing and negotiation with suppliers
- VAT returns/compliance with the support of the CFO
- Work closely together with both the local management team and the Group Finance team
Finance Manager: The Person:
- You will be part of fully qualified Accountant with demonstrable experience of managing accounts, banking and commercial aspects, ideally within apparel and fashion industry
- Working knowledge of SAP would be advantageous along with intermediate excel skills
- Fluent in English both oral and written communication
- Able to operate in a busy workplace
- Able to multi-task, prioritise and meet strict deadlines whilst having excellent attention to detail
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Be self motivated
