Product Developer - Expat

About the company:

Our client is a global fashion business selling kidswear to the UK and US high streets. Key customers in the UK include Primark, Asos, NEXT etc.

Due to strong growth, they are seeking a bright and organised Product Developer to join their teams in either Dhaka (Bangladesh) or Bangalore (India). 

Product Developer: The role:

  • To be responsible for Development Critical Path management
  • To help source and develop trims, fabrics and new garment trends
  • Liaise with customer on product development
  • Work with the factory to make sure trims/fabrics are correct
  • Work with Creative Director to put together kidswear fashion ranges 
  • To ensure buyers requests are translated accurately into development and then into production garments
  • To be responsible for library of sample garments, fabrics and trims
  • To be able to research trend information, and put together trend pack ideas

Product Developer: The person:

The ideal candidate:

  • Will have some experience in a development/broader production, critical path management role within apparels (kidswear)
  • Will be highly organised and be able to prioritise and manage workload autonomously
  • Will be a self starter and be keen to grow and develop in a growing and entrepreneurial environment
  • Have good excel skills
  • Will have an eye for fashion and have excellent communication skills
