A large multi-product apparel supplier is seeking a talented and experienced HR Business Partner to join their offices in London.
JOB PURPOSE
To work as a strategic partner with the General Manager- HR and the Leadership Team to support and enable business delivery and transformation; to partner across the Business Units to deliver all people plans. The people plan will focus on talent, performance and culture. The candidate will also work across the HR function to manage the delivery and performance of all HR services into the functional areas.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop and deliver a strategic people plan to realise the business unit strategy taking into account external factors; deliver this plan both to the central HR team as well as to the Business Unit leaders. This will require operating the matrix of the organisation
- Responsible for the strategic talent management of the teams: develop a clear plan for the senior roles, and ensure talent flows across the organisation, continuously driving the diversity and development of talent.
- Work in close alignment with Talent Acquisition, identifying trends and opportunities
- Coach senior business leaders to manage key people challenges in order to optimise performance
- Support in transformational business change design and restructuring needs
- Provide analysis of people analytics and metrics to support creation of a colleague value proposition, to drive retention and engagement across the teams; proactively address issues.
- Collaborate across HR to ensure solutions developed meet business needs and are embedded
PERSONAL PROFILE
- Experienced HR practitioner, with proven experience of influencing at a senior level of the organisation.
- Experienced within the apparel and fashion industry
- Proven delivery of strategic objectives; able to demonstrate diagnosis of issues, consideration of options and approaches and ability to execute seamlessly in a matrix environment.
- Strong communication skills - delivering the strategies of the business will require you to engage at leadership levels and present at functional-wide events.
- Experienced coaching capability to support talent development
- Ability to use and interpret data to inform decision-making
- Confident to challenge the status quo and think creatively with business leaders
- Ability to manage complex problems and competing priorities
