Compliance Officer: The Role

• Working with factories to ensure audits are carried out on time and certificates are up to date
• Working with fabric mills to manage certification of fabrics, checking traceability and validation of paperwork
• Working with factories/supply base to ensure all non-conformance raised within an audit are addressed and completed within the required time-frame
• To maintain customer relationships and resolve any issues that arise from audits
• To understand and work with in-house systems
• To stay on top of any changes in compliance requirements from customers, implementing the changes in the supply chain
• Manage the customer specific requirements from the compliance point of view and attend regular meetings

Compliance Officer: The Candidate

• Will have experience in a similar role with knowledge of BSCI, SEDEX
• Will have knowledge of factory auditing processes 
• Will be able to independently read audit reports 
• Will be able to guide factories towards compliance 
• Will have excellent planning / prioritising/organising skills 
• Will be able to work on own initiative 
• Will be meticulous with detail
