About the Role
A manufacturer and buying house is seeking a Chief Marketing Officer to manage their $600M business and grow it over the next 5-10 years.
They are seeking someone who has experience in managing large volume business (both manufacturing as well as third-party sourcing). The Chief Marketing Officer will come with new business development experience.
The role is based in India.
Chief Marketing Officer: The Role:
- Manage an existing portfolio of ~$600M across knits and wovens
- Champion New Business Development
- Lead and manage the customer relationships (direct as well as through buying agencies/importers)
- Manage marketing and merchandising teams
- Work in collaboration with the Head of Manufacturing to ensure capacity utilisation of in-house production
- Provide leadership to Product Development and Design functions
Chief Marketing Officer: The Person:
The ideal candidate will have
- new business development experience including customer onboarding experience
- experience in managing sales with North American and European retailers/brands
- experience in managing large volume accounts
- experience in leading multi-functional and large teams
