Innerwear Designer - Mens
A up market brand based overseas is seeking a talented Innerwear Designer for men on a freelance basis. The role is remote based (work from home) with some travel to their head office in India. They are looking for a commitment of up to 3 days a week for a yearlong contract.
About the Business
Our client is based in India. They are a multi-product upmarket brand with their own stores in addition to concessions in malls, department stores in large metropolitan cities.
Key products are innerwear, swimwear and performance wear for men
Innerwear Designer- Mens: The Role:

Conduct research, analyse competition to assist in the development of product strategy. Identify gaps in the current offering

Develop ranges and collections to bring UK and European fashion to the Indian market

Work closely with the Design team in India to translate ideas into products
Innerwear Designer - Mens: The Person:
The ideal candidate will:
-
be from a strong design background within Mens Innerwear ideally from a retail or brands background

have a track record in trend forecasting

be thorough in putting together technical packs/detailed technical drawings with detailed design specifications

be able to work remote with the entire design, product development, sampling infrastructure being overseas

be self motivated
-
be a self starter and can work with minimal support
Fees: Day Rate of up to £350 a day or up to £50,000 a year
