UK Sales Manager

Business Overview

An overseas Buying Agency is seeking a Sales Manager to grow their UK supermarkets business.  They are already selling into European customers including Inditex Group, El Corte Ingles and US customer base, but now are looking to expand into the UK market targeting NEXT, ASOS and Supermarkets - George, Tesco, Sainsbury's etc. 

Sales Manager: The role: 

They are seeking experienced sales managers to grow their business in the UK targeting supermarkets such as Sainsburys, Tesco F&F, George as well as high street retailers. Products are knit, woven, jersey, denim across womens and menswear.

The ideal candidate will:

- Be an experienced sales professional with strong track record of selling into supermarkets and high street accounts in UK.

- Be hands on with product development, working with factories in the far east, costings and negotiations with both buyers and factories

- Have an excellent eye for trends, product and be able to spot gaps in the market 

- Be savvy and highly commercial

- Be a good manager, as they will have a small team of merchandisers, techs and designers to work with

- Either come from a supplier/manufacturer or from a buying background (ideally supermarkets).
