Head of Sourcing, India

We are looking for a talented sourcing manager to work for a large fashion house, sourcing multi-products (knits, wovens and jersey) across mens, ladies and kids. The role will require managing teams across various clusters (Delhi NCR, Tirupur, Jaipur, Ludhiana, Mumbai, Bangalore, Chennai etc). The role is based out in India, hence experience of production and factories in the country would be ideal.

Head of Sourcing: the role:

You will be responsible for:

- Managing all third-party sourcing aspects for India (a factory base of around 100)

- Building strong relationships with factories and make sure that orders are delivered at the right time, at the right price and at the right quality

-Work closely with in-house product developers and buyers to ensure that the offering is competitive and fresh

-Educating factories on quality standards, processes and systems and build a transparent communication process between factories and buyers

-Identifying gaps and areas of improvement and implementing tools to make the systems more efficient

-All quality and production aspects as far as Indian production is concerned

-Sourcing new factories that could potentially add better value

Head of Sourcing: the person:

The ideal candidate will:

-Have strong sourcing and production experience, ideally in India

-Have a strong personality, yet have the ability to work collaboratively

-Have strong relationship management skills and problem solving skills

-Be customer focused and provide a good service to our buyers through expectation management and good delivery skills

This is an expat role. Package: Up to £120,000 + expat benefits (housing, car, insurance, flight tickets home)
