- Our client is a newly established e-commerce fashion businesses selling very niche fair trade apparel and accessories targeted at the mid market segment of buyers. They are a fast growing business with offices in Central London and are looking for a E-commerce marketing professional to work for them couple of days a week.
The aim is to drive footfall to the site through digital marketing, social media, etc and also to do some basic maintenance work.The website has been built and is a finished product, already delivering sales. A full time Ecommerce merchandiser is currently looking after the orders, managing inventory and updating the website as and when the sales happen.The Ecommerce Marketing Manager will be responsible for finding creative and cost effective ways of promoting the portal amongst the targeted audience, predominantly in the UK but eventually this will become an international seller.He/She will also be responsible for analysing traffic and website data, studying online buying behaviour and making recommendations for promotional ideas.He/She will aggressively promote the page and its products through digital marketing and active use of social media.A small part of the job will also involve basic website maintenance that includes updating it, making necessary changes as and when products move, creating new links and pages as the product portfolio grows, etc.The role will suit someone who has had some ecommerce marketing experience and is looking for a flexible role.Since this is a start up environment, the role will be initially part time, but with increased sales the idea is to have the individual full time in house.The work environment is like 'working with friends' in a start up set up, hands on and proactive, with plenty of opportunity to make the project your own.If this sounds like you please get in touch with your CV.
