A leading manufacturer of formalwear (jackets, trousers) and casual jackets is looking for a strong sales manager to develop their UK business, key target customers being mid market brands and retailers such as Reiss , Hobbs, Ted Baker, etc. Our client has a strong customer portfolio that includes Ralph Lauren, Michael Kors, DKNY, Perry Ellis, White Stuff, Topman, ASOS etc. The Sales Manager will be responsible for introducing new accounts as well as building existing ones.
Who are we looking for:
The ideal candidate will have strong formalwear/tailoring sales experience selling into UK mid-market and high street retailers.
You will have a track record of working with buyers and designers
You will have a strong commercial track record delivering sales and growing new business.
You will be strong in costings and margins calculations
You will have a collaborative personality, be able to work cross functionally with design, technical teams and far east production. This is important because the culture of this business is very positive and energetic, hence someone only with a very positive and ambitious attitude will fit in.
